Tai Chi philosophy in China and  other parts of the world can be intimidating for its vast quantity of Information that surely can make it complex to learn and practice, many other forms of Tai Chi have been created to simplify its practice and enjoy the health benefits that we are all looking for.

Modern Tai Chi ( Tai Chi Ropu ) has emerged in The Quiet Room as a mixed form of Yang, Wu (Z-Q and Y-H ), Walking Meditation, Grounded Meditation, Chair Tai Chi Ropu, Tai Chi Ropu, and Bagua Zhang

ロープ(with a specific rope), and Qigong (or chi kung).

With the  combination of these productive movements, using rotation of joints and  slow full range of motion we balance and compensate areas of the body with the rope and produce short repetitive routines that can decompress the mind, and rearrange cognition in the brain to help gain balance and mobility.

Enjoy all health benefits in a short period of time!

Breathing Meditation

The Tai Chi primary concepts are:

  • Qi — an energy force thought to flow through the body; tai chi is said to unblock and encourage the proper flow of qi.

  • Yin and yang — opposing elements thought to make up the universe that needs to be kept in harmony. Tai chi is said to promote this balance.

Grounding Tai Chi

is best to connect and rely

 to our nature's healing patterns

Who can do Tai Chi?

Any one! Tai Chi is recommended to do in the mornings as it will energize and balance your body, even if is just for 15 minutes.
This is research! "A growing body of carefully conducted investigations in Harvard are building a compelling case for tai chi as an adjunct to standard medical treatment for the prevention and rehabilitation of many conditions commonly associated with age. An adjunct therapy is one that's used together with primary medical treatments, either to address a disease itself or its primary symptoms, or, more generally, to improve a patient's functioning and quality of life."

Connecting The Elements

"Nature is the law"

Every part of the human body is Tai Chi, with the yin yang of opposite female and male. Qigong is the medical side and the science of breathing and inter biological communication; the contrast and harmony of the dynamic and static movements of the body in Tai Chi and Qigong combined. We connect to one's mind and and soul with nature to relieve stress and enjoy the relaxation and flow between body and mind, the mind within the breathing rhythm of the body to homeostasis, or the opposite to control better our health.

Mindful Practice

Breathing and Moving

Slowly... very slowly we move and breathe, we demonstrate what we have learned, and educate ourselves through our monkey mistakes which are our impulses, we begin elongations and longer movements to work more muscles.

Practice takes place without lecturing, quiet and freely, no one makes mistakes during the process of natural movement, we adapt to nature.

We move, breathe, adapt and heal all together.

Cool Down.

We ground our feet and expand our lungs to have each

alveoli in our lungs take care off proper oxygen delivery and organ function.

This ending is basic, consists of a few minutes of gentle breathing and mostly combined with movement.

The purpose of Modern Tai Chi, is to help relax the mind and mobilize the body's energy balancing the poles.

Modern Tai Chi in The Quiet Room, may be practiced standing, sitting, or lying down with sticks or ropes.

Modern Tai Chi Instruction require comfortable and soft clothing that does not limitates movement, clothes are loose and with neutral colors. No shoes or masks are recommended as the adaptation to our natural elements and balancing process,

might take much longer to reach.
